Before treatment, your skin is cleansed, ultrasound gel is applied to the treatment area, and protective eyewear is provided. The Percipulse IPL system uses a cooled sapphire treatment tip during application. You may experience a brief snapping sensation or warmth as light pulses are delivered.

Appointments generally take less than an hour, depending on the area being treated. Afterward, your provider will explain appropriate skincare, sun protection, and any activity restrictions. Several sessions spaced a few weeks apart may be recommended, depending on your individual needs and response.
